Tuncurry

A small dusty town in the north eastern part of Aesh. Tuncurry is an ancilliary town to a large iron mine run by “lord” Eli Burks and “lady” Lydia Burks (the titles are self appointed. The buildings in the area are mainly stucco and wood.

• Merles Trading Post - This well kept, if somewhat ill stocked, shop is a two-story stone-walled building, with dwarf-wrought iron furnishings. It is the towns only general store and only stocks the necessities of a small town (no magic items, no potions). It is owned and operated by Merle Havorford and his wife Dornan. Merey Bede is their niece.

• The Chariot Inn and Taphouse - A three story stone walled inn / house of ill repute with a tiny stable attached and two hitching posts out front. The tavern has a small selection of beers and spirits, as well as food (which is serviceable at best). It is run by the innkeeper and her husband Darla and Frank Harlow. The couple is open about their affection for each other, but Darla does all the talking and running, while Frank runs the kitchen and the bar in stoic silence. The tavern has two barmaids/whores who switch off on duties, Ella and Beth who have permanent rooms on the 2nd floor. The interior is kept very clean by Darlas' barmaids, but the furnishings are cheap and show signs of recent repair; battle scars from a recent brawl while some miners were in town.

• Durmats Smithy - A smithy, tannery, woodcrafter, and Ourificer, Durmat does odd jobs and repairs for basically the whole town. He keeps two young apprentices, Skell and Joy, sisters he found out in the badlands after their mother had been killed by outlaws. Durmat has a secondary job as the town's law enforcement, though it's unofficial.

• Mayors Hall - Scott McAnaster is the town's mayor, his job is primarily a tax collector, but the large man is jovial and personable, so the job goes well. Him and Lord Burke used to have a somewhat amicable relationship that had broken down in the last 3 months.
