 Steelborn Fleshmongers have a broken psyche. Something caused them to simply snap. This causes most steelborn to simply go catatonic, but for some their programming goes into a "Basics" mode and tries to rebuild itself. This process inevitably fails and the steelborn seeks to regain what it once was by mindlessly hunting other humanoids and carving the flesh from their bones and bolting it to itself in the hopes of being accepted by society once again. It never works.
