Skorn Hatchlings are carnivorous pack hunters that hatch from clutches of 3-6 eggs in the arid regions of Alaraes. After their mother lays the eggs she buries them in a shallow hole to hide them from predators. Once hatched, they have white hides with patches of brown bone plates on the head and spiky spine. This early in their lifecycle they are mostly head, with pudgy bodies. They have two small foreclaws with razor sharp talons and long slender tails with a bone-spike protrusion on the end. They grow to 2 feet tall and 3 feet long within days and are fully self reliant within hours of hatching. They mature to Skorn Adolescents within 2-3 weeks of hatching.
