Changelings are naturally secretive by nature; finding that people often treat them with suspicion and hostility when their ability to change is uncovered. As such, they generally tend to live on the fringes of society, working menial jobs of little note or shady ones that raise little suspicion. On the off chance that one does rise to prominence hide their ability, with those that discover it quietly disappearing. When a Changeling reveals its nature, it only does so with those whom it believes can keep a secret. When a Changeling reveals its nature to you, you know that you have made a lifelong friend, or enemy. There is very little to their culture, choosing instead to try and blend-in seamlessly with their surroundings and their society at large. Oddly, Onigre love Changelings, usually to their chagrin, finding their ability to be great fun at parties. Humans, on the other hand, are uneasy around them, finding that their sense of self is challenged by the fact someone else could look like them and take their identity at any moment. Gnomes and Halflings are largely unconcerned with Changelings, as there are very few who match their stature, and often find it amusing to see what they would look like if they were taller.
