For centuries, the Lights of Evermore have taken upon themselves the mantle of peacekeepers. Their ranks are composed of arelin. They reside in a secret fortress that can only be accessed by those who know where it is. It is here where they train their acolytes and watch over the realms. Rumor has it they pray to no god, but instead to a gigantic tree that grows inside their holy temple. The Tree of Evermore is said to be as wide as thirty men abreast and has natural black swirls upon its white bark, which bears a striking resemblance to the Lights themselves. They live as keepers of peace in the land. Even to kings, an arelin inquisitor is someone to respected and heeded.
